This light-filled corner unit is located within one of Pacific Height’s most coveted buildings, Pacific Place. While the excitement of the city pulses nearby, it offers plenty of reasons to stay right here at home. Building amenities include a heated pool, spa, gym, landscaped courtyard, 24/7 security/doorman, and two elegant lobbies. Four elevators mean you hardly ever have to wait, but you can also access the 2bd/1ba condo directly from the courtyard. This direct access is especially wonderful for hosting socially distant gatherings or telecommuting from the wifi-equipped outdoor space.

You enter through the foyer where you’ll find two large closets, one with a stackable Samsung washer/dryer and room for all of your laundry supplies plus additional storage. There is plenty of storage space throughout, with a spacious walk-in closet in the main bedroom and wall-to-wall closet in the second bedroom. An intelligent floor plan puts the bedrooms at the back, each in its own separate wing. The second bedroom can be used as an office for Work From Home privacy and ease.

Expansive double pane windows flood the home with light, creating a peaceful environment with cozy bench seating and a hall reading nook. Open living, kitchen, and dining areas set a comfortable scene for entertaining guests or relaxing nights in. The updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a Bosch dishwasher, and new fridge. Nordic Oak solid hardwood floors were installed in 2019 – this is one of the few units in the building allowed to have hardwood flooring throughout. The spacious bathroom is another rarity, with ample counter space and cabinetry and a nice-sized tub.

One-car garage parking near the elevator for easy loading. Assigned storage in the garage also is conveniently located in close proximity to the parking space.

About the Neighborhood

One of the few neighborhoods that survived the 1906 earthquake, Pacific Heights is home to beautiful Victorians, serene streets, and a host of shopping, dining, and entertainment activities. Fillmore St. is the main shopping hub, with high-end retail and consignment and curated boutiques. Polk St. and Hyde St. are packed with delicious eateries. Many families are drawn to Pacific Heights for its excellent schools, accessible public transportation, and close proximity to several parks; Lafayette Park and recently revitalized Alta Plaza Park isn’t far away with 360-degree views of the city, tennis courts, a playground and wide grassy lawn. Russian Hill, Marina, Nob Hill, and Polk Gulch are all within walking distance, the Muni makes a quick trip downtown, and Marin County and Sausalito are an easy drive away for weekend wine tasting or waterside oysters and bocce ball. Lower Pacific Heights offers home buyers a stylish, upscale-feeling neighborhood bolstered by an approachable, casual attitude. Within the confines of these blocks, you'll find Japantown, the oldest and largest such enclave in the United States. From the spectacle of the Peace Plaza pagoda to the grandeur of St. Dominic's Church, it really seems there's something here for everyone. This area is a shopper's delight, with bustling commercial centers along both Fillmore and Steiner streets. The Japan Center mall is a mecca for all things Japanese. When it comes time to eat, the possibilities are endless. Evenings see the streets fill with patrons looking to dine at one of many gastronomic destinations, or music fans lining up at the Boom Boom Room and the adjacent historic Fillmore Theater. Sundance Kabuki Cinema is a welcome addition to the neighborhood; as the largest independent theater in the city, the Kabuki screens first run features and plays host to a number of film festivals, attracting cinephiles from all over the Bay Area. The neighborhood is home to an interesting mix of classic Victorian homes and mid-rise condo developments. As throughout much of the city, you'll find wonderful diversity among your neighbors. You can get a picture of the sense of community that exists in this diverse pocket of the city each April during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Freeway access has been greatly improved in recent years thanks to the completion of the Octavia corridor freeway entrance, opening up the area to south and east bay commuters. If you'd like to dip your toes into the Northside life, Lower Pacific Heights is a great place to begin your search.

Holly Hirshfield & Alan Peterson

"Our initial consultation was one of the most memorable discussions we’ve had with someone in the business. She demonstrated through examples how creative, solutions-oriented and innovative her approach was; notably how her team adapted to the covid-19 environment through novel and personal marketing and attention to detail via virtual experiences. Other Realtors offered us a lower rate but we believe we got the quality and caliber we paid for."

"Ruth is a down-to-earth, friendly pit bull who represented us well and never let her guard down. She prepared us, protected us, and positioned us for what could not have been a more successful sale."
J.R., Seller
"In this very tough market, she got my family into a fantastic home. I was getting ready to walk away from the SF market altogether, because I just didn't think we could find what we wanted in a home at a price we could pay. Ruth is an absolute pro and helped us get the house we wanted. Ruth is a master real estate agent and the one you want in San Francisco."
H.H & A.P., Buyer
"In such a competitive market we needed an edge to get the home we wanted and we found that with Ruth and her team. She is down to earth, very personable and a master negotiator. She is honest, understanding, and not just out to make the sale."
R.M., Buyer
"Ruth was quick to assess our needs, the property needs, and the San Francisco market needs. She considered the property thoughtfully as she made recommendations for any renovations or work required. Her experience and knowledge as an interior designer is an asset. She creatively played with the space to increase its marketability and our home was beautifully displayed. We were pleased with the amount of offers and felt that Ruth's knowledge attributed to our success."
