Meet Lauren Neuschel, SF Real Estate Agent

Lauren Neuschel is a dedicated buyer’s agent and loves what she does! Working with buyers takes a lot of hustle, patience, empathy, and honesty – all of which come naturally to Lauren. The business is in her blood and it has always felt more like a deep-seated passion than a job.

Moving into real estate from Boston Consulting Group, a top management consulting firm, Lauren has a strong background in client services, analytical thinking, and problem-solving (not to mention long hours). For Lauren, there is nothing greater than actively listening to a client’s needs and going above and beyond to make sure they are exceeded.

An avid runner and former Division I runner, she embodies hard work, consistency, and grit in many aspects of her life. Fun fact: In 2023, Lauren completed the World Marathon Challenge, running seven marathons on seven continents in seven days!

Lauren sells all over the city, but she has a particular soft spot for the west side right next to the ocean. She lives with her husband, Jason, in the Outer Richmond.

"The TL;DR: I've told every person I know about how great it was to work with Lauren Neuschel and strongly recommend her to anyone considering home buying in the area.


We've been in our house a little over two months and we've spent pretty much the entire time thinking about how lucky we got both finding our home and finding Lauren. First, she very clearly laid out the process to expect in our very first meeting. It was organized, strategic, and extremely insightful. I got more out of that first meeting than I did in the 4 months prior "working" with an agent we met at an open house.


Back to Lauren: soon after the first meeting, she sent us an exercise that involved reviewing recently sold homes and selecting the ones that we would have purchased at the sale price. That exercise and Lauren helped us understand what was in the realm of possibility.


When it came to looking at open houses, she was organized, efficient, and attentive to our feedback. When it came to determining home value and what we're willing to pay, she walked us through a comp exercise comparing the price per square foot of living space. For me, that was one of the most helpful metrics in the whole process.


But the best part of the whole process was (spoiler!) finding our home, getting our under-asking (!) offer accepted, and then a closing process that left me feeling calm and confident thanks to Lauren's competence and thoroughness. We decided to see our house in person after ignoring it for a few weeks. We went to see it at 8 am on a Wednesday and... *star eye emoji.* It was the first time my husband and I immediately agreed that we needed to make an offer right then and there.


That night, Lauren recommended that we offer under asking, put together an incredibly thorough and thoughtful offer package, and explained the purpose of *every* *single* document in the offer paperwork. She also recommended we submit it first thing the next morning and set a deadline of 12 pm. That's an important detail because not only was our offer accepted, we were told that the sellers received their only other offer 5 minutes after we ratified. [sweat emoji]


Like everything else, the closing process was also a breeze thanks to Lauren. She sent us clear and specific instructions and updates along the way, and just made what's normally a stressful experience feel smooth. Oh, and the Krishnan Team sent us pizza the night we moved in and left us a very sweet housewarming gift! It was all just really great."

Once our offer was accepted, Lauren organized our escrow to-do list, put us in contact with the right people, and clearly documented everything. This was a hectic and scary time, but she always downplayed the drama and made it much less daunting than it ought to have been.
